This is the best Days Inn I've been too so far. Rooms are clean,staff is friendly. Manager is very professional.
I really enjoyed staying here. only 3 things of note: 1) the heat/air fan was broken in our room. We should have called the front desk, but we didnt. That is our fault for not letting them know. Perhaps they could have moved our room 2) wifi signal was weak. It kept disconnecting us. 3) the breakfast was really bad. It is basically just bread, muffins, waffles and yogert... so I hope you like bread for breakfast. overall it was fine. Above average for an inexpensive room.
I had a little trouble hearing because of background noise while at the kiosk, but other than that it was a fun experience. Pat was very pleasant.

Had an amazing one night stay in a beautiful room with a very comfy king-size bed. Everything was very clean and well kept. The gentleman who helped us was very wonderful. We enjoyed our conversation with them during breakfast, which breakfast by the way, was very good. We will be back in the area this spring and absolutely will be staying here again. Honestly, though, it's located in a really great spot, close to the highway and a bunch of restaurants. For the price we paid, it's a very fair price.
Had 2 issues that were addressed immediately and couldn’t be more impressed with the customer service. Only complaint is the parking is not wide enough but I’m Definitely staying here my next visit to Ames.
Giving a top rating for the weary travelers just needing rest and shower for a fair price. I don't expect the four seasons at this rate, but you can reliably find a quick check in barring any extreme circumstances in Ames in a pinch without a reservation. The black mirror style check in is actually faster than the real in person that used to be here, and Anthony wished my family well in the hospital knowing my situation for a personable service
So far, so good. I'm not a fan of the check-in computer interface. I'm hearing impaired and couldn't understand half of what was being said by the other "live" participant. The computer voice and he were somewhat out of sync. I suppose it's more convenient and secure for the clerk but I don't like it. Several restaurants within walking distance. Security is working. Rooms are comfortable enough. Seems to be recently renovated.
